You need to know how to

• crochet chain stitch,
• single crochet,
• increase (crochet 2 sc in one stitch),
• decrease (crochet 2 sc together),
• slip stitch only through back loops.

For the body and legs, you can use any smooth yarn of any structure, any thickness and color.

But for the head, you need to use a thicker yarn - such as a velvet yarn.

For body and legs use 160m/50g, cotton/acrylic yarn (Sport weight / 4ply or DK / 8 ply) about 1/3 a skein and a hook size 2.5 mm (С) and for the head velvet yarn 120m / 100g (Super Bulky / Super Chunky weight) about 1/5 a skein and a hook size 3.5 mm (E).
